Ten First Class commemorative stamps featuring new illustrations of Robin Hood’s adventures were issued by Royal Mail on April 23, 2023.
The folklore outlaw appears alongside his companions including Maid Marian and Friar Tuck.
Artist Jon McCoy created the beautiful illustrations that capture key moments in the legendary tale – including Robin being declared an outlaw, his marriage to Maid Marian and shooting his final arrow.
The Ten First Class square stamps are described as follows:
