Marina Bartolome Dizon-Santiago (July 18, 1875 - October 25, 1950), was born in Trozo, Manila to Jose Dizon, one of the Thirteen Martyrs of Bagumbayan, and Roberta Bartolome.
After her mother died when she was eight, her aunt Josefa Dizon, the mother of Emilio Jacinto, took care of her.
Her father was a founding member of the Katipunan. In 1893, Emilio Jacinto her cousin accompanied her to the house of Don Restituto Javier on Oroquieta Street.
In the presence of Gregoria de Jesus, the wife of Andres Bonifacio, Josefa and Trinidad Rizal and their nieces, Angelica Lopez and Delfina Herbosa, Marina was initiated into the Katipunan. Supremo Andres Bonifacio presided the initiation.
She married Jose Turiano Santiago, also a Katipunero.
Marina served as the keeper of the society’s documents and burned them after the Spanish authorities learned about the Katipunan in 1896.
When her husband was arrested, She sold her jewelries to pay for his release. Marina Dizon died on October 25, 1950.
