Eulogio "Amang" Adona Rodríguez, Sr. (January 21, 1883 – December 9, 1964), the longest serving Senate President after Manuel L. Quezon, was born in Montalban (now Rodriguez, named in his honor), Distrito de Morong.
He served from April 30, 1952 to April 17, 1953 and May 20, 1953 to April 5, 1963.
He was municipal president of Montalban (1906-1916), governor of Rizal in 1916 and reelected in 1922.
Rodriguez became mayor of Manila and ran for the Senate and won in 1941.
He was a man, a politician and a public official of sterling attributes.
