World Stamp Today:
JANUARY 16, 2009
The Edgar Allan Poe commemorative stamp was issued by the U.S. Postal Service on January 16, 2009.
The stamp designed by Carl T. Herrman from Carlsbad, California celebrates the 200th birth anniversary of Edgar Allan Poe, one of America’s most extraordinary poets and fiction writers.
