JANUARY 25, 1901
Pablo Sebero Antonio (January 25, 1901 – June 14, 1975), a pioneer in modern Philippine architecture and National Artist of the Philippines, was born in Binondo, Manila.
Among the works he did in the Art Deco style were the Far Eastern University campuses, White Cross Orphanage, Manila Polo Club, Ramon Roces Publications Building, Ideal Theater, Life Theater, Scala Theater, Galaxy Theater and Lyric Theater, to name a few.
Antonio made each building unique, avoiding obvious trademarks.
