Japan Post came out with the first issue of the Japanese Architecture Series.
The engraving printing process is used for the first time in 12 years since the issuance of "Cultural Figures Series" in 2004.
The first series depicts Byodoin Hoo-do (World Heritage Site) and Former Crown Prince's Palace (State Guest House, Akasaka Palace; National Treasure).
