Pres. Corazon Cojuangco Aquino delivered her second State of the Nation Message to Congress.
She was quoted saying “I call on the people to gather the scattered stones of the edifice and build. For I had not been called to power to achieve economic progress at the cost of the ideals of the Revolution that swept me into office.”
She also shared how to make democracy work, people powered capitalism, decentralization, debt burden, foreign policy review, the new army for democracy, the time for action and rediscovering national purpose.
