Cebu Stamp Club came out with the Limited Edition Pedro Calungsod Canonization Postcard to coincide with the opening of the Cebu Stamp Club @ 15 Anniversary Culmination Events held on December 28, 2012.
The postcard's design features Cebu's first saint, Pedro Calungsod with the Saint Peter's Basilica as the backdrop. The P9 stamp of the Canonization of Blessed Pedro Calungsod released by the Philippine Postal Corporation (Philpost) on October 21, 2012 is placed on the upper right corner of the card. The back portion shows the official cancellation of the events.
Last night was such a wonderful evening for me and Charles Mark Uybengkee, Cebu Stamp Club's Board of Trustee together with Dr. Anna Catherine Mae Bayani, Ezekiel Bayani, Debbie Uy, Duchess Uybengkee and Jerald Kervin Uy as we got invited to a 10-course dinner by the family of Donna Yu Tarriman at The Ching Palace.
There we got the chance to have a casual chat with Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes and Vice Mayor Glenn Bercede who were also invited by the host. The mayor and the vice mayor are dynamic leaders who have steered the city towards prosperity and development.
Shown in the photo above are Vice Mayor Glenn Bercede, Charles Mark Uybengkee, Mayor Jonas Cortes and yours truly.

It's December and the Christmas fever is at its peak here in the Philippines. Parties, events, gift-givings, Christmas sales and giveaways, and Christmas decors are all over.
This year, Himlayang Pilipino decided to hold its Christmas party at Montebello Villa Hotel on December 15 with me and my son Jerald Kervin as among those invited for the occasion.
It was a fun-filled event where all of us went home with cash and gifts. I was even lucky to come home with a brand new stand fan!
Thank you Himlayang Pilipino..
