October 15, 1964
October 15, 1964 was the last day of President Diosado Macapagal's 12-day State Visit to the United States. He was in Honolulu, Hawaii and held a press conference at his Kahala Hilton Hotel suite.

President Macapagal went sightseeing in Oahu, that included stops at the Sea Lie Park, the Pall Lookout, and a ride through windswept Oahu. Macapagal's trip began on October 3, 1964 and ended on October 15, 1964.
He visited Honolulu (Hawaii), San Francisco, Williamsburg (Virginia), Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania), New York City, and Los Angeles.
He met U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson at the White House on October 5, 1964. Pres. Johnson spoke at 11:49 a.m. at the South Lawn in the White House where he was given a formal welcome with full military honors.
President Diosdado Macapagal together with First Lady Eva Macapagal and their entourage arrived at the Manila International Airport (MIA) on board the Philippine Air Lines jetliner Sampaguita at 8:56 a.m. on October 16, 1964.
