The Butterfly Garden Flowers stamps were released by USPS on February 1, 2022.
These non-profit stamps featured the Cosmos and Scabiosas, two flowers that butterflies love.
Art director Antonio Alcalá did the design with the original art from Rigel Stuhmiller.
Scabiosas are known as pincushion flowers because they look like a pincushion loaded with needles.
Cosmos, also called the Mexican aster, grow on a sprawling plant that produces a profusion of blossoms.
These plants help provide a beautiful haven for butterflies and gardeners as well.
