On February 9, 2018, a new U.S. Flag stamp was released by the United States Postal Service.
The stamp shows a digital illustration of a 50-star flag folded twice. T
The non denominated (50¢) forever stamp came in four varieties (two formats).
Kit Hinrichs did the digital illustration that showed a flag with crisp folds with a contemporary look, and to give a sense of depth, a shadow on the small visible portion of the back was added. Ethel Kessler was the stamp's art director.
U.S. stamps have featured the American flag in vivid red, white, and blue for more than 50 years.
