Today is the 159th birth anniversary of Andres Bonifacio, the founder and fearless leader of the Katipunan, that paved the way for the Philippine Revolution.
In my own little way, I did several stamp and photo exhibits using my materials for Cebu Stamp Club in different venues through the years to promote Philippine history, nationalism and love of country.
Among them is the Philatelic Tribute to Andres Bonifacio held at the Cebu City Museum in 1998, Selyo at Kasaysayan: A Retrospective of Filipino Heroes Through Stamps held at the Silliman University library in Dumaguete City and at SM City Cebu in 2009, and the latest was the Selyo ug Kasaysayan sa Fort (Stamps and History at the Fort) at Cuerpo de Guardia, Fort San Pedro from 2013 to 2015.
Today in Philippine History (Philatelic Edition) Series 1 and 2 featured here and in my fb page and Cebu Stamp Club's page, also highlight the lives and heroism of our heroes 🇵🇠(11.30.22)
