Cebu Stamp Club's first major exhibit was the Rizal Martyrdom Centennial Stamp Exhibition held on December 28, 1996 at the Cebu City Museum from the collections of yours truly.
The Cebu City Government through the Cultural and Historical Affairs Commission sponsored the event in cooperation with the Philippine Postal Corporation Region 7.
Cebu City First Lady Ninette Garcia, Mrs. Fabiolita Ferraris, Philpost 7 Regional Manager and Sir Joseph Pritchard of the Order of the Knights of Rizal were the honored guests.
The exhibit featured stamps and first day covers of Rizal and Rizaliana 🇵ðŸ‡
