Early in 1996, Fabiolita Ferraris, the dynamic regional manager of Philpost based in Cebu appointed me as the philatelic adviser of the region.
One of the projects I came up with is the creation of a stamp club that would support Philpost in their philatelic promotion.
On August 24, 1996, Cebu Stamp Club was born and became partners with Ma'am Bioly as she and her team embarked on creating school-based stamp clubs all over Cebu and the promotion of philately and the thrift stamp.
CSCI became a registered non-stock, non-profit organization on January 30, 1997 and she was the guest speaker in the first general meeting.
For her full support to the club, Fabiolita Ferraris, with Membership ID No. M960066 was accorded a lifetime member status 🇵ðŸ‡
