Cebu Stamp Club In Catmon

Cebu Stamp Club members convoyed in four cars today to the house of Australian members Kenneth and Gina Turner in Catmon town, which is 45 kilometers away from the city.

The couple treated the group with a sumptuous lunch and lots and lots of stamps, postcards and covers.

It was a fun-filled day for everyone who came. Thank you Kenneth and Gina for your hospitality.

Cebu Stamp Club June 10 Meetup

For twenty years, we meet, talk and share ideas about stamps and philately every month. We have built strong bonds and friendships while having fun. Come June 10, 2017, we will meet once again in the house of our Australian member Kenneth Turner and his wife Gina in northern Cebu. Photos are from a past meetup in his house.

August Stamp Meetup

Yesterday was Cebu Stamp Club, Incorporated's regular monthly stamp meetup at the 2nd floor of McDonalds Jones, Cebu City. It was a rainy Sunday but I braved the rain just to be with my fellow stamp collectors. We talked about the upcoming Cory Aquino stamp exhibit this Thursday at the Ayala Center Cebu and shared news and ideas on stamp collecting. Of course, stamps exchanged hands in the course of the meeting.

My friend Eyan Yu donated some U.S. stamps for everyone and signed in as a sponsor for the Ayala exhibit. I thank Eyan, Sharee Ann Trapa, Richard Guimbarda, Dinah Potolin, Janice Benolerao and Janus Bariñan for the unselfish dedication and support for club.
