Buying Philippine Stamps Online

There used to be a time when stamp collectors had a hard time finding the stamps to add to their collections.

With the advent of the internet, things became easier. With just a click of a finger, one can already buy stamps or things right at the comfort of one's home.

The most popular and safest venue to shop online is Ebay. Books, collectibles, computers, toys, stamps and furnitures are just some of the things one can buy. I have bought a lot of Philippine stamps and Star Wars items there and I never had a problem receiving them.

There was only one instance when I bought some miniature figures for my HO scale mini city from a Hong Kong buyer and the items did not arrive. I believe it might have been lost in transit so I informed them about it. Immediately thereafter, they shipped a similar item and this time, I got it. You can call me one of Ebay's satisfied customers.

Among my favorite Philippine stamp sellers in Ebay is Henry Chua. He goes by the name "Stamp Addict" and has lots of cool stamps in his site. Henry is also a lifetime member of Cebu Stamp Club, Incorporated. Start checking his site for the missing stamps in your collection.

New Online Auction

Auctions add excitement to the stamp collecting hobby. I have completed some of my collections such as the Japanese Occupation of the Philippines and the Philippine Commonwealth through different auctions in Ebay and other venues.

As an added feature of its website, Cebu Stamp Club, Incorporated has come up with an auction page that highlights mint Philippine stamps. The price is quite reasonable owing to the fact that Philippine stamps are quite hard to acquire nowadays. Additional items will be posted in the next few days.

Star Wars Episode I Pepsi Bottle Cap Collection

Sometime in 2006, I came across some items in eBay that caught my fancy. These were the Pepsi Cola Star Wars bottle caps. Immediately thereafter, I fell in love with them and immediately bid on them. Lucky for me coz I won the bid.

After the items arrived, I did some research on the net and learned that there were a lot of them released by Pepsi in different dates exclusively in Japan to highlight the movies featuring Episodes I, II, and III.

Trying to collect the complete set of these 2.25" figures was not easy. It was only this year that I was able to complete Episode I and Episode II. My Episode III still lacks 11 figs to complete.

The Star Wars Episode I bottle caps collection was released by Pepsi in 1999. Photos above are from my personal collection to show the reader how beautiful these figures are. Here is the complete list of characters included in that set.
