Manny Pacquiao Faces Timothy Bradley Again

Here in the Philippines, everyone will be watching the rematch between the People's Champ Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley.  

The last fight between the two was a controversial one wherein Pacquiao lost to Bradley. Let's see who is the better among the two this time. I just hope that this will be Manny's redemption after he knocks down Timothy.

UPDATE: After 12 rounds of dominating Bradley, Manny won the match by a unanimous decision by the judges. Congratulations Pacman for the victory.

Pacman is on Time Magazine's Cover

Just days before his scheduled boxing match with Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao found himself on the cover of Time Magazine Asia Edition.

“I absolutely had no idea that when I started my career in boxing, to provide a better life for myself and my family, that I would now be where I am today and on the cover of TIME Magazine,” Pacquiao was quoted as saying.

He further adds “..a fighter’s dream is to win a world title and gain financial stability. But what is happening to me now is the most humbling experience of my life. It is a great honor for me to be the face of my people and to let everyone know we are a small but mighty country. I have great pride for all of the Filipinos living throughout the world and it is these people that I fight for each and every time I step into the ring.”

Manny Pacquiao, The People's Champ

Boxing is one sport that I love to see on tv and I never fail to watch a Manny Pacquiao match.

The People's Champ or Pacman as Manny is often referred to, will be in the ring once again come November to fight Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas. I believe he will bring honor again to the country by winning over his opponent.

Pacquiao's charm was at its best yesterday when he visited Puerto Rico and was mobbed by Puerto Ricans asking for his autograph with señoritas posing beside him for souvenir pictures.

How I wish I could meet the champ and have him sign my Manny Pacquiao Souvenir Sheet released by the Philippine Postal Corporation (Philpost) last May 30, 2008.

Who knows? Maybe one day I will have that moment!
