Rest in Peace Mr. Spock

Aside from being an avid Star Wars fan and collector, I also love the Star Trek movies and collect the books, action figures (shown in the photos) and other items. 

Among my favorite characters is Mr. Spock, played by Leonard Nimoy. Rest in peace Mr. Spock!

Multi-B TVC Still Airs on Primetime TV

One of the projects I was involved was the Mult-B Multi-Vitamins TVC. In this TV commercial, I played the role of a grandfather. My hair was sprayed white to achieve an older look on cam. Multi-B is directed by Gilbert Gamolo and produced by Donna Gimeno of 8Thumbs for Unilab. It is still currently aired during prime time in ABS-CBN in the Visayas and Mindanao areas.

Ang Secreto Short Film

I have played some roles in the past as a priest, a monsignor, an arnis master and a grandfather. This time, I will be playing as a doctor in Ang Sekreto (The Secret), a short film written and directed by Raymond Ismael N. Aquino, His entry to the 2015 Sinulog Film Festival. 

This latest project shot last month stars Abigail Aquino (Bea Corpuz), Marlinda Angbetic Tan (Sarah Corpuz), Venus Marie Labra (Karen dela Calzada), Stella Palomo Monteño (Narsing), Raymond Ismael Aquino (Doming), Gordon Allan Joseph (Bobby), Tess Diez (Sister Veronica), Dominique Joaquin Go (Dina).

Ang Nino Short Film

Ang Niño, a short film by Irae Jardin which is currently in post production features Catherine Rosario, Charles Mark Uybengkee, Alex Ilaya, yours truly as the monsignor and with the special participation of Jerald Kervin Uy among others.

Ang Higala Short Film

Coming soon from CebuStampClub Productions: Ang Higala, a short film written and directed by yours truly is a story of a boy named Daniel Brillantes played by Jerald Kervin Uy, who touches the lives of the people around him together with his friend Pedro Calungsod. 

The cast includes the voice of Dante Luzon, Debbie Uy, Duchess Blythe Uybengkee, Albert Chan Paran, Charles Mark Uybengkee, Richfel Arjuna Uy, Mark Andre Yapching, Alex Ilaya, Richard Beethoven Uy, Hanzel Lacida, Elmer Silva, Chuck Paras, Khezh Rylette Uy, Mary Luz Alaura, Ricardo Teves and Imerald Godinez.

Cebu Stamp Club's February 2015 Stamp Meetup

It was a rainy Sunday afternoon and as expected, I got calls and text messages of those who begged off to join today's stamp meetup but some Cebu Stamp CIub members just braved the rain. 

Thanks Edmund, Dinah and Steve for the sharing. It was a worthwhile afternoon over a cup of coffee and stamp talk. Of course, they went home with the Pope Francis stamps and other stamp freebies.
